Furniture pickup is available and encouraged at our location by appointment.
6.35% sales tax applies to all in State Connecticut sales unless accompanied by valid tax ID #.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and PayPal. We will accept personal checks, payment must clear the bank before your shipment is sent out.
We offer white glove, blanket wrapped, insured shipping in most areas of the U.S. We will offer you reasonable rates using our reliable, hand picked shippers. Please call or email us with your zip code and we will provide you with a free price quotes on shipping. If you choose to arrange for your own shipper to pick up your purchase, we will provide you with the information you will need to do so. Please call us if you have any further questions.
Our white glove service includes blanket wrap, full value insurance and first floor delivery into your home. Please let us know before we obtain a quote if you would like set up assistance. If not mentioned beforehand, our shippers are not obligated to offer free set up services. Quotes are for a first floor delivery unless otherwise specified before quote is obtained. Some setup procedures once approved, may require assistance to the driver, for example, steadying a mirror or helping place a mattress and box spring on your new bed. Provided that the the item(s) are going to be located on the first floor, they will be placed into position in the room of your choice. If the item goes up or down a flight of stairs, or at any time during the delivery 2 people are required to complete the delivery, you may need to have assistance available for the driver. It will be at the sole discretion of our shipper to complete a second story delivery. Some of our delivery services typically have only one man with a dolly, so please be considerate of that. There will be no removal of existing furniture unless pre-arranged at an extra cost with the shipper. At no time will our shipper be required to alter stairwells or doorjambs to complete a delivery. We will make every effort to accommodate you, and all of our people have a vast knowledge and background in the moving industry. The shipper will accept cash only (no checks or credit cards) upon delivery unless pre-arranged otherwise. Damages and Claims
Juniper Hill Antiques is not responsible for miscommunication between freight carrier and consignee (recipient). We will accommodate you in expediting insurance claims if needed, all shipping company Terms and Conditions apply.
Delivery discrepancies, and damages are the sole responsibility of the freight carrier once the merchandise has been accepted by said carrier.
Damages sustained in transit are the sole responsibility of the freight carrier.
If a packaged item is dented, opened, punctured, or looks as if damage may have occurred,
examine contents in the presence of the driver.
All damages must be noted on freight bill at time of delivery and taken up with carrier immediately.
Any damages during shipment are the responsibility of the Buyer and Shipper exclusively and as such, Buyer and Shipper are required to file and process the claim together.
All one of a kind pieces are non-returnable.
Our furniture is carefully inspected thoroughly prior to shipping and is accepted by the carrier in good condition.
Once carrier has accepted freight, our responsibility ends. All shipping company policies apply with claims.
Our furniture is sold distressed and is not to be considered a defect. Therefore, all one- of- a -kind pieces are sold "as-is".
No returns will be accepted without prior authorization by phone or email. If authorization is granted by us, all credits will be issued in the form of merchandise or store credit. If return of furniture is authorized by Juniper Hill, return shipping is the sole responsibility of said buyer.
